Why You Should Work Quickly To Get Your Boyfriend Back
You shouldn't wait too long after a break up before taking action to get your boyfriend back in your life. Although
hesitation won't necessarily destroy your chance of making up with him, it can make matters more difficult. The
smartest thing a woman can do after a break up she knows to be wrong, is to take action as soon as possible.
Why is it so important to move quickly? What about that old saying, “absence makes the heart grow fonder”?
There is some truth to the idea that we romanticize our past circumstances with the passage of time. After a great
deal of time passes, we tend to overlook the warts and flaws in others, concentrating our thoughts more on the good
times and their attractive traits.
That, however, is a long-term matter. It's a “big picture” concept that has very little to do with the reality of
getting a boyfriend back in your life in the here and now. A more suitable old saying to keep in mind might instead
be, “out of sight, out of mind”.
The longer you wait to get him back, the harder it will probably be. It may never be impossible, but it will set
you up for a more trying process if you wait.
Why? What makes it so important to do something right away to re-initiate the relationship? Why can't you just cool
off for several months and then launch an all-out attempt to get him back in your life?
Well, a lot of it has to do with the power of recent-cy. You are still very close to him and his daily patterns. He
still thinks about you regularly and he is acutely aware of the ways your absence is impacting his life. This gives
you a head start in rebuilding the relationship.
Additionally, men have a tendency to move forward into new relationships quickly after a break up. That isn't
always by design, either. Even guys who swear off women completely after a significant break up often find
themselves dating again very soon. It's almost as if they're naturally drawn to move on to a new relationship.
Obviously, the presence of another woman only complicates your situation. The sooner you act, the more likely you
are to get him back without needing to deal with that potentially sticky situation.
If you're just coming out of a break up and you want your boyfriend back in your life, don't hesitate. Get a good
plan, resolve yourself to take action, and get started now. Waiting is not a good idea. The passage of time is not
your friend. If you want him back, get started now. The clock really is ticking.
It won't be impossible to get him back later, but it will be easier to re-initiate your special relationship if you
act sooner.
