The Good and The Bad Of Dating Older Women
Our society and its ideals are opening up more and more in the last few years and it has become quite fashionable,
and accepted, that younger guys are dating older women. Don’t get me wrong, it still takes a guy’s friends and
family a little while to get used to the fact that the 20 year old guy they know is dating a 40 year old women, but
if you really think about it then the whole situation, it is win-win on both sides of the equation because both the
people are getting what they want.
As we have seen in the past few years with celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore who not only dated but
married, the idea of dating older women seems to be catching on and working out for a lot of people.
The benefit of dating older women is that both the woman and the guy are getting what they want. To look at it from
a purely scientific point of view, a male hits his sexual peak when he is eighteen and a woman hits hers in her mid
to late 30’s. So the idea of dating older women has probably been going on for a long time, and since it was
considered a sort of taboo after Christianization, it was never publicized. So the concept of dating older women
actually makes complete scientific sense as older women are extremely attractive and they probably want the same
thing that the younger guy wants. But that could be where the good part ends.
When It All Goes Wrong
Everyone has seen those true stories on television where the school teacher convinces the young student to kill her
husband and she uses sex to do it. Older women are obviously more mature than the younger guys they are dating and
in some cases that can be a really bad situation for the guy. A younger guy is going to become enamored with the
fact that he is dating an older woman and when they are both getting what they want from each other physically then
the younger guy can start to become a sort of puppet for the older woman. It is more common than the media reports
and young men are getting manipulated by older women on decent sized scale.
There is a two way street to everything and there are good and bad angles to every story and younger guys dating
older women is no exception. Both sides just need to be sure they know what they are getting in to and that the
possibility exists on either side that they are being used rather than being revered.
